1) Length of Course:
40 Hours; (15 hours
theory, 25 hours practice).
Theory: Hair Biology, Laser Physics, Lasers Used for Hair Removal, Client Selection,
Laser Safety, Post Treatment Care, Complications, and Marketing.
Practice: Hands-on training with the most popular
lasers in the industry. Students perform treatments that are available to the public at reduced rates. 2) Schedule: Monday
through Friday, 9:00 - 6:00 PM; 1 week to complete. 3) Entrance
Requirements: The NYS Education Department requires that in order to enroll in this class you must be one
of the following; Electrologist, Esthetician, Cosmetologist, MD, OD, PA or Nurse. Training also available in Electrolysis.
